BOWER ART GROUP

Meet:Tuesdays, 7:30pm
A very friendly mixed group with interests including watercolours, pastels and oils. Bower Hall is behind Havering-atte-Bower Church with views and sunsets that inspire us. We are mainly self-tutored with occasional demonstrations and exhibitions in local libraries with works on sale. We meet all through the year.
 
BRITISH SUGARCRAFT GUILD (Romford Branch)

Meet:Second Monday of the month, 7:30pm
A friendly group, (beginners to professionals) who are interested in all aspects of cake decoration and hand made sugar flowers and models. We watch a demonstration by an expert at each meeting. Visitors are very welcome to come along.

We are a large society of about sixty members. We have no tutor but run a structured programme which includes demonstrations and workshops. New members with some experience are very welcome and can come along for a few trial weeks to find out more.

The Essex Rock & Mineral Society is an amateur geological society which aims to cater for a wide spectrum of ages, expertise & interests in rocks, minerals, fossils and lapidary. We have a full lecture programme and run a number of organised field trips during the year.

A friendly group of varying ability, who welcome new members. There is either a guest speaker or practical session every 2 months. Some members are also involved in the morning workshops at Fairkytes. This is a self directed group, with some structural sessions.

Friendly group interested in all aspects of patchwork, quilting and appliqué. Members work on group projects, own projects and organise outings and day workshops. Meetings can be member led, working on projects and occasional guest speakers. All levels catered for and new members always welcome.
 
NORTH ROMFORD CAMERA CLUB

A small, friendly club (not an FRPS between us). Our aim is to enjoy photography, whether on film or digital, in relaxed surroundings. With good darkroom facilities and plenty of members to assist beginners, meetings are varied and always interesting. Top judges and lecturers regularly visit us. We are very active socially.
