A good night for Kytes too

Kytes bagged a couple of  Brents too - Tori Till took Best Actress for her role as Piaf and Romyann Brooks won Best Supporting Actress as her friend in the same play. Congratulations!

A great night for College Players!

Congratulations all nominees and winners at tonight's Brents Awards - and a special accolade for our very own College Players who scooped up several awards! Best Design, Most Imaginative Costume, Best Production of a Play - and Best SupportIng Actor and Best Actor for Paul Sparrowham and Darren Matthews respectively. Well done!

Local artist produces calendar

Full steam ahead! Local artist Adrian Henderson has created a beautiful calendar which features a collection of his watercolour paintings of steam engines. The A4 sized calendar will be available around the end of September and priced at just £12. A dead heat!

Thoughts on the Open Art Exhibition?

Well as far as we can tell, its been a great little exhibition in the Queens Theatre foyer. We have had lots of compliments and thanks from both artists and the general public. Have you visited? What did you think? The Romford Recorder today featured the Havering Open Art Exhibition in a full page article, with photographs of some of the artists with their works, and listing the winners....

Get yourself along to the Queens!

This year's art exhibition is now open! Havering Singers is open to all who enjoy singing, whatever their musical experience, so if you are looking for a friendly choir and the opportunity to make music, please come and join them.
