Havering Arts Festival 2016
Havering Arts Council members have once again combined with the London Borough of Havering’s Arts Development Team, and others active in the Arts, to present the Havering Arts Festival 2016.
The Havering Arts Festival includes over 50 events, running from April to July. There are art exhibitions, plays, interesting talks, and some arts activities for children and young adults. We hope that all will find in this Festival brochure something to enjoy. You will be welcome!
Alongside the Havering Arts Festival we are running the longstanding Havering Drama Festival, a peripatetic festival of full-length plays. Amateur drama groups based in Havering stage productions that are judged by a member of the Guild of Drama Adjudicators.
Feedback is given to the drama group and individual performers, and awards are given at an Annual Gala event. Plays that have been entered into this Drama Festival are indicated by this logo.

About Havering Arts Council
Havering Arts Council is a charitable organisation that seeks to promote and develop arts activities within the London Borough of Havering. Partially funded by an annual grant from the borough, we seek to encourage local groups to hold events and activities which will raise awareness of the Arts and will increase participation in Arts activities by members of our local communities across the borough.
We want to help local arts groups to grow and develop. We offer grants to our member societies to support their activities and work in collaboration with the borough's Arts Development team and the department of Culture and Leisure Services.
If you belong to an Arts group in Havering and think you could benefit from joining us, contact Jill Luff, our Secretary, at email@example.com or call her on 01708 641718 to discuss joining. You can also write to us at:
