FRIENDS OF HAVERING MUSEUM

A group for supporters of the museum; our aims are to stimulate interest in the museum, act as a voice of support and encouragement, purchase items for the collection and sponsor exhibitions and activities. Friends can be active in joining in with museum activities or simply enjoy participating in social events.

HAVERING & DISTRICT AMATEUR RADIO CLUB

The club has been serving the interests of short wave listeners, electronics enthusiasts and radio amateurs for over 40 years. Lectures on associated subjects, library, equipment loan scheme, surplus equipment sales and national competitions entered make this a useful club to belong to.

HAVERING NUMISMATIC SOCIETY

The Havering Numismatic Society was founded in 1967 to encourage coin and medal collecting in the area. We welcome new members of all ages who would like to make friends and learn more about the history and geography of coins and tokens, both modern and old. Talks on coins and tokens, quizzes, exhibitions. Help valuing and identifying coins and tokens.

Enriching Lives through The Arts

For those who gain pleasure from an interest in the classic Arts, the society offers a varied programme of illustrated lectures and trips. See their website tashavering.org.uk or flyer

Meetings are at The New Windmill Hall, St Mary's Lane, Upminster, RM14 2QH, every 2nd Tuesday morning of the month apart from July and August. 

Full membership costs £46.00 for a full year or you can attend any of the lectures as a visitor or trial member, for a fee of £8.00.
